I keep having problems printing from my desktop and from the NFS server
that my home directory is on. For example:
athyra$ lpq
Failed to query service for state of umpk17p20dbl: not-found
athyra$ lpq

athyra$ lpq
no entries
athyra$ lpq

I tried upping the timeout on my desktop with
lpadmin -p $PRINTER -o timeout=300
but that didn't help. athyra is running snv_55; jurassic-x4600 is
running snv_60.
The local SunRay system (running Solaris 10) doesn't seem to have this
problem.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?
