Hi Apostolos,

I'm not an expert and don't know if this is a bug,
but there are several verifications that occur,
when adding the ppd file. We just recently submitted
the SXDE sys admin books, where this tool is
documented fairly well. Here's the link. See
the information in the reference chapter for
what you are looking for, then check the task chapter.

You might find the info helpful, if not now,
for future use.
