hello,
Having been able to get minimal printing to work via the suggestions in
previous posts (namely lpr to networked HP4350 and HP4000), I'm still having
issues with standard printing, from gedit for example (and via StarOffice).
The biggest issue is manual duplex mode - namely it doesn't take effect, nor
does Watermarks for that matter). Forcing greyscale printing seems to be the
only option I can get to work.
Here is my configuration:
Sun Microsystems Inc. SunOS 5.11 snv_64a October 2007

Is there some incantation needed in order print duplex manually?
I noticed via the openprinting website that HPLIP is suggested, which
configures as well scanner and fax capabilities... Has anybody got this working
on OpenSolaris?
Thanks in advance
