I went to take a look at your packages to see if you had picked up the
latest
foomatic, but it wasn't there.
Early last week, I committed a fix to the stable branch
(foomatic-3_0-branch)
of the foomatic-filters tree. The fix resolves problems with PPD files
that have
FoomaticRIPCommandLine values using features not available in a
"vanilla" Bourne
shell. At any rate, you might want to pickup the fix. I intend on
bringing the
version delivered in Solaris in sync with the current stable branch in
the next few
weeks.
