Hi All, I've just brought a new laptop , Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 13". I am trying to get my Roland Edirol UA-25ex to work as a capture device under jack.
I've used this USB sound card quite a lot under linux and never had issues until now. Everytime I go to set it up in duplex mode 48khz it throws the flowing errors :- Jack :- Sat Jan 29 10:35:28 2011: [1m[31mERROR: ALSA: could not start playback (Broken pipe)[0m Sat Jan 29 10:35:28 2011: [1m[31mERROR: Cannot start driver[0m Sat Jan 29 10:35:28 2011: [1m[31mERROR: JackServer::Start() failed with -1[0m dmesg :- [ 384.261578] ehci_hcd 0000:00:1d.0: iso resched full ffff880136759000 (now 6272 max 14464) [ 384.261588] cannot submit datapipe for urb 0, error -28: not enough bandwidth I think its from a buggy usb hub in my laptop lspci:- 00:1a.0 USB Controller: Intel Corporation Ibex Peak USB2 Enhanced Host Controller (rev 06) >From the Intel notes on this chipset they make note that it has issues with >full duplex audio devices in anything less then B2 revision. source :- http://www.intel.com/assets/pdf/specupdate/322170.pdf I'd be happy to just get it to work as a capture device if I can't have full duplex. I can't seem to get it to work at all. Help would be appreciated Thanks
