Hello, I removed it by mistake. I put it back after.

It is for the last rt-patch available here: http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/ If it doesn't work for you, fix it or send a bug message, but don't remove it. If it is no good raison to remove it, please reverse this commit. Ciao, Dominique P.S.: According to this thread on the LAD: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg11801.html linus merged the force threaded irq handlers. This means, that the most important feature of the -rt patches is now in mainline. Now, we have the 2.6.39-rc5 version at kernel.org. I don't know how it work, but I think that in order to get the most of such a kernel, one would have to add "threadirqs" to the kernel boot params and to follow http://jackaudio.org/linux_group_sched I also think that on the long run, RT_GROUP_SCHED will replace CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT. And libcgroup is now in portage. I am also curious to see if such mainline improvements will be affected by the compilation failure metabug (like the rt-patch can be affected): http://bugs.gentoo.org/20600
