    thanks to both of you for the replies.  i am a bit wary of going
with bleeding edge LV2, since i have a few LV2 plugin-dependent music
projects in progress that i am afraid to monkey wrench.  i also noticed
lots of problems with Ardour and the changing LV2 scene.  i better just
wait until the ebuild gets bumped and use external DSSI hosts.
