Hi Heidenreck and list. The ardour 3.9999 ebuild is a live ebuild in that it downloads the svn code and compiles. If updated twice within a few hours the svn code is changed. In other words, this isn't a package (which implies it stays at a specific version)
I was using it to provide feedback for testing from MIDI clock and other MIDI purposes (I have been submitting bugs for ardour 3 for over 2 years now). I use ardour 2.8.12 for production work. If it's not possible to modify the ebuild then I will simply do it from svn manually, but that's just a little bit more annoying. regards Allan On Sat, 2012-05-12 at 09:30 +0200, heidenreck wrote: > Hi, > > > Ardour3 package will not be available anymore: > > http://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=8049#p26335 > http://kxstudio.sourceforge.net/Paste/U7nUm > > Regards > > Olaf > > Am 12.05.2012 07:13, schrieb Allan Klinbail: > > HI All, > > > > I think there has been an upstream change that breaks the current 3.9999 > > ebuild. > > > > > > I get the following message. > > > > Installing Ardour 3 is currently unsupported.
