I charge for digital capture in much the same way as film and scan.
The charge for files delivered to the client is similar to what would
have been charged for scanning. If you delivered 7 files, charge
something similar to what you would for seven scans. I also charge for
proofing a digital shoot that's not unlike the way I'd charge for
making contact sheets from film. Typically I put watermarked images on
a web page for clients to browse and select finals. I charge per page
posted similar to the way I'd charge for a contact sheet from film.
