well, as a photographer I'd use a particular film because of it's
idiosyncracies, I would not want them to be neutralised. Tonallly [film
density wise] the right workflow does iron that difference out.

why not have a word with Mike Hill [on the list I think] - he does
pretty similar work to you [wildlife] I think and appreciated the
smoothing of his workflow by the introduction of profiles for his gear
- and some personal tuition.
