if you wish to compare to a proof like Iris you'd need to convert the
testimage file to CMYK [using the same CMYK the Iris is set to
simulate] then cross render to your Epson profile [as is explained in
Thomas manual you got with the printer profile.]

You see, the iris is [very probably]  simulating a priting process, so
it is not at all likely that it should match your screen or printer
output without the above procedure.

it's just a print whic is a corect representation of an image on disc.
it enables you to KNOW whether you are right or not.
