Thing is, though, this is the world of computers, it's not a great idea
to read old news, it changes weeekly. As others have suggested an FAQ
might be good, but encouraging users to post only questions not listed
in archives isn't great idea IMHO.

That's the thing about an online community, there are always those
willing to help, and the effort they make in helping is a lot less than
the effort required to thread and delete a few posts on subjects one is
not interested in.
