As a test tonight I have swapped a SCSI CD drive from a Win2K machine and jumpered it as the Mac one. It is correctly recognised by the Apple System Profiler but it says no mounted media inserted (when a CD has been inserted) and of course no drive is showing on the desktop! The Win2K CD has been written in closed session in ISO 9660 format as per normal.I was with Richard very briefly today and tried his CDs in my G3 powerbook and they mounted fine - so there's no problem with the CDs
Hi all
Richard - you didn't say whether this revised set up mounted a system disk as I think your previous set up did.
