Greetings,
A solution is to make your print on canvas.
Some sign print shops can do this for you.
And, some outfits that do fine art printing can do it too.
Here in the USA it can be done at a Kinkos Copy Store.

Make sure that it's printed on an HP wide format printer that uses  HP UV
pigment inks so that it will withstand UV fading.
After getting it printed get it laminated on the photo side to protect it
from moisture.

Then, I would either mount it on the surface of an existing shade.
Or, I would trim a shade and glue the end to the top end of the photo
canvas.
