I asked an engineer at Mitsubishi about this. He said their monitors are
designed for the Northern or Southern hemispheres, not specifically any
countries. So you can use a Northern monitor in China, the US, or the UK,
but it won't work correctly in Australia. However, a monitor in the wrong
hemisphere will still operate correctly if you turn it upside down.
