OT and nothing to do with Jay Maisel (long live his legendariness) but ... its probably just one of those things that comes with advancing age, deteriorating eyesight, a swelling internal visual vocabulary supplimented by enhanced public acceptance the inevitable next step is f...k the shot as long as you got the idea ...followed by f...k the idea On a pure creative level I feel pretty uneasy about the culture behind the concept of 'getting the shot' anyway - but that is another rather dramatic conquest story. I put away my 10/8 camera and shoot on any old crap nowadays - took me a long while to begin to understand what brighter people than I knew all along - that people see with their egos rather than their eyes. Egos have difficulty seeing the midday sun how about: - when you have 'really' arrived you just go home while your clients go and get your shot for you. Now 'that' is worth aspiring to. :-) philip =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
