you mean the same 2 monitors connnected to the computers in turn?

this would be pretty tedious - resetting the hardware options every
time you change over.
Why not make the hardware [OSD] settings right for your main machine A,
then just allow the software calibration to do it's best on machine B.
[ignore the calibration/profilinmg softwares instructions to alter the
OSD controls on machine B]
This does have hitches, one card may need hardware brightness set
higher, for example. I don't think it's going to be perfect on machine
2.
However I did this with a Mitsubisi 22 for a while with my G4 and 8600
- and trhe result wAs just fine.
Alternatively how about making screen 1 the main screen for mac G4 and
screen 2 the main screen for mac G3, then you can have the claibration
as good as possible on at least one screen with each system.
