BootCD should do it. <http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=15196&db=mac> I have never used it but it's well thought of I believe.

Disk Warrior is a boot CD. Alternatively you could buy a book like Mac OS X Disaster Relief and follow the instructions to make your own. You could still use the book as a doorstop.


Probably the best solution is to install on a spare ext hard disk.
