Doug.. Depending upon what paper you are using, you could only expect a few short years,maybe 1-4 years or so on the "Epson" original inks in your 1160....You can either use special (ie non-Epson ) pigmented inks and go through a whole new learning curve, or go buy yourself an Epson C82, which uses a newer formulation of factory inks that will give you 25-50 years life span....MUCH better than C-type prints from the one-hour lab!
