While I agree with your point, although 10.1.5 is as high as 10.1 goes and I know the move to 10.2 has not been smooth for many, which is one of the reasons I've avoided it. However, I had the same problem trying to install under OS9.2.2 and OS9.1 as well although both of these platforms are supposed to be acceptable according to the install requirements as stated by Adobe. My main enquiry was whether this was a problem anyone else had had before I go down the route of re-installing P/shop, OSX etc or maybe I'm got a duff download.
