That will depend on which month you go to them! I don't believe they have
the first body yet.

The Nikon D100 and the Fuji S2, which also has a Nikon body, multiply the
focal length by about 1.3. Something that may work to your advantage. The S2
also delivers superb images and can save out 12mb RAW files (interpolated
from 6mpx). TIFFs saved from the 12mb RAWs are excellent quality.

Because of the smaller chip, the DOF should be deeper. That maybe a
consideration. The downside is the smaller viewfinder. If you are used to a
35mm viewfinder, you will get a shock...Mind you, I had a look down the
latest, highly recommended for the money, Minolta Dimage the other day and
that shows an LCD image which strobes as you move the camera.

I bought the S2 because it has the Firewire port and 12mb RAW files but the
D100 doesn't. It also has a USB port. It's said the quality of the images is
superior to the D100 because it always interpolates up to 12mpx before
saving out as 6mpx. BTW, the S2 is not the only dSLR that interpolates, it
seems 'most' CCD based cameras do. I don't think the D60 does because it has
a CMOS sensor.

You always retain the moral copyrights, FWIW...So, if a client doesn't pay
and uses your images, you can sue the pants off them...<G>
