are the sleeves actually Tyvek material?
are the CD's plain silver both sides?

I have hundreds of those Tyvek sleeves and have found that the plain
silver CD's which I favour [better for labels] are sticking to the
plastic window in the front. This seems to cause an internal
delamination of the CD material!

Of course TDK won't want to know, since their own CD's are apparently
fine in the packets [but who knowes long term if the plastic window
material contains something which eventually softens all CD's?.

Welll, fine for life, so far. I do have a batch of 8 x TDK CD's which
will not work on my 48 x writer.

sticking to the plastic window sems to have caused it here.

I wonder if that's it. And I wonder about those <arhcival> slip
sleeves. Bit less space consuming.
