My name is Les Nelson, and I live in Puyallup, Washington. I used to live in a small town in Alaska, but I moved down to Portland, OR to attend the Art Institute of Portland, and ended up falling in love with the town of Puyallup (very long story).
When I lived in Alaska, I ran a small design firm called Premium Polar Design that I started when I was fifteen. I'm now 20, and am starting a new firm. I'm also in the process of writing a book, but I'm doing an awfully bad job at it and I'm sure it'll never get picked up ;-)
As of right now, design has ceased to be the most important thing in my life. This past year, I started taking care of abused children, and am now getting my foster care license to hopefully get custody of one of them. Pray for me :-)
I'm really looking forward to taking part in discussions when I have something to add, or to ask.
