Dear List,
Is there a maximun limit to the size of the Internal Hard Drive that the Mac
G4 867 DP machine can 'see'. I've searched the Apple site to no avail...
I am considering the purchase of an internal 200GB Drive from Western
Digital - I'm way out of my leaugue on this - but from what I can understand
: In order to acheive this amazing capacity WD have made the Hard Drive
"48Bit addressing". Does anyone know will this work on a Mac to its max
capacity - or if fitted will the Mac 'see' a smaller drive size, if any ?
All the Apple techs would say is that they don't want to discuss Hard Drives
over 120GB... Period. So helpful !
Any help and advice much appreciated.
Thank you.
David
