Further to my last post , does anyone know how to create a Norton boot disc for OSX . Have spent 2 hours trying , following the instructions on the semantics site , I failed . There is reference to a file called 'norton tools ', which I cannot find , I assume they mean 'norton solutions' , and copying the powerbook software disc doesnt 'create' a usable system , at least not following the semantics instructions.
Basically using 'copy disc ' one is supposed to collect the various items needed , but it wont let me put the norton solutions folder in as it says not enough room.
I'm not sure what one needs to have a 'system' from OSX on a CD to use as a startup disc.
On OS 9 it was easy , put a 'system 'on the disc and norton and away you go ! I have had no such luck with OSX .
The osx version is 10.2.3
