My sincere thanks to those who sent me details of noise reduction sites etc. This was in answer to my question, how could I recover a load of shots taken at 3200 ASA in broad daylight!! I have managed to save a fair number of images, to a max of about A4 prints, the plugs worked better on some shots than others. The specific 10d plug whilst being very cheap, was in fact a little disappointing giving the appearance of making little or no changes to the images? That said where it was effective the results were pretty reasonable and worked very well on images taken with a Nikon Coolpix 950. Of course had I not been dim enough to shoot the images at a ridiculous ASA in the first place this would not have been an issue.
Has anyone got any experience/tips for shooting with the 10d at night? I do a fair amount of fire photography so if anyone on the group has any hints, tips or tricks etc I would be very pleased to hear from you. Thanks again for the assistance and the general quality of the postings on this group, I am certainly learning a great deal.
