Beware - this is new version of Nigerian "millions in foriegn bank account
scam".

I have been selling a Kodak D760 via e-Bay and got very interested in the
prices of Kodak 14ns - going for as little at 1200 "buy now" prices.

In two of the cases I got identical replies to Clive, one from Spain and
another from Manila and a third from [ allegedly ] Hong Kong actually was
based on an e-mail hosting site in the UK. They all wanted money transfers
at which point I quit the game. Having watched my own item selling price
for 10 days I became very concious that there are some peculiar offers being
made.

So if you are tempted then be very, very wary. Have been speaking with an
experienced selller on e-Bay and he says that there are lots of scams and
dodgy deals being offered out there - positive feedback comments are no
guarantee as all you need to do is register yourself with e-bay and then you
can then post positive comments for a selling name. A bit like the problems
that radio / TV shows get on phone-in voting

E-Bay can work very nicely but you have to be very careful.
