Stephen I prefer to work with camera USM off and apply in Photoshop later depending upon final usage of file. I seldom use the higher ISO settings but have left noise reduction enabled with no apparent ill effects. I tend to use Colour mode 4 (closer approximation to Adobe 98 most of the time.
