Hi I recently chanced upon a site full of free camera icc profiles <http://www.PopPhoto.com/article.asp?section_id=2&article_id=480&page_number =1>
If I'm taking pictures in a camera raw format and using Adobe's raw import plugin there are options to produce output in several preset spaces. Information about the raw plugin suggests that it has camera information 'built in' and uses this for its calculations. Is there any way to make use of a camera profile when using the Adobe plugin? More to the point - is there anything (useful) to be gained from the profiles available? Out of curiosity, I had a quick look at the camera profiles using the OSX ColorSync utility and they do vary quite a bit (it also said several were broken - how safe is its 'repair facility?) bye for now Keith Cooper Northlight Images http://northlight-images.co.uk Photography - Digital Imaging - Apple Mac Consultancy Tel +44 (0)116 291 9092 Mobile +44 (0)780 162 9397 =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
