Hello James
Images captured by Imacon cameras (under current software versions) are saved as "fff" files in a folder called (by default) "scratchpad". These files are in essence "RAW" files as you say (along with a lot of other very cool features).
If you go to open one of them from photoshop you will indeed be opening a "fff" file (assuming you have the P.S plug-in), and you will need to do a "save as" to save them as tiffs.

However if you have an image up in the main flexcolour window and you choose "save" it will save the file out as a tiff (8 or 16 bitl, RGB, greyscale, or CMYK depending on which option you choose).

Hope that helps

Hi List,
I've been loaned a Flexframe 4040 and haven't worked out how to convert files from raw to .tif.
Presently, when saved they have a .fff extension.
Help gratefully accepted.
Under the cosh time-wise.

James Stewart
