Somewhat off topic...
Rather than send jpgs as attachments I prefer to put up a quick website to show a client.
I'm having a few problems sending people links to websites by email.
Normally I would include the link in angled brackets <http://www.likethis.com> which I assume will give a clickable link but some email clients seem to include the trailing bracket which gives an error once the browser opens up. I have just found that a client using a webmail system got an error because she clicked on the link and the browser added <%3E> at the end (without the brackets) instead of the trailing bracket, which of course gave an error.
Question: Is there a failsafe way to send a clickable link by email?
Thanks
ps My Canon printer story is drawing to a close. Report to come...
