As to one 1 GB or two 512MB, I'd go with the latter. Eggs and baskets comes to mind!

Thinking of boosting storage capacity of my digital slr and wondered, price apart, which was the best way to go - compact flash card or microdrive?
Also, if compact flash is best route, should I get one 1GB card or two 512Mb cards?
