Hi List

Been following the recent threads on image (u)sharp etc. Which got me
thinking on a (to me) related subject to which I do not know the answer, but
I guess someone out there will:

The Epson 2000P driver has the ability to intercept a print from PS that
would be A3 in size and change that to become a "poster" (driver - layout -
multi-page - poster..) of 4, 9 or 16 (A3) pages. I have used this quite
successfully for visualisations and one off requirements.

My question is about the effect or otherwise of gf or other
sharpening/scaling plug-in's in this scenario. If I upsize an image using
all these great tools, but then print it (say, as scale to fit A3 in PS) -
which is then intercepted by the Epson print driver and spread over 16 A3
sheets - is the extra work on the image translated to the end result? Or
did PS discard data, or did Epson take over any scale or sharp activity in
it's post-processing?

Sorry if this is a no-brainer, (should I even be using the Epson function at
all?) but would appreciate advice on this one.

Regards

Phil
