Hi William, I'm using an iOne Pro (with Eye One Match 2.03 software) to profile a 1290 with Lyson Fotonic Inks. The iOne kit is my first (and only) experience of profiling a printer, so I cannot comment on its relative merits when compared to other kit out there. Since you mention you are on Lyson Fotonics...the major headache I'm experiencing is finding paper stock, that I like, that gives a wide enough gamut of colours (especially in the reds) as to be acceptable, using the Lyson Fotonic Inks. All I will say is that the iOne profiling kit shows all the weakness in the paper/ink combo wonderfully ! So I guess its doing its job well. If you like I can email / put on a server some profiles so you can view them in "softproof" them in PS and you be the judge !
