Not an expert - but what OS would help.
Exciting days for your son. Mine just finished 4 years at Bristol this summer doing Computer Science. It's winderful - I am now employing him to do web scripting I could never dream of doing. The negative is that we never actually expected him to return home and it's a culture shock for all.
However - he is organising a round the world trip and and looking for a career job next summer. As long as he's always near a web cafe to give me support!!
As far as your son is concerned.
OSX - it's like falling off a log.
OS9 - he probably needs "Dave"
it's normally far easier than the Win guys realise.
let me know the OS
best Francis

Hi list
My son's just gone off to Leeds University with a Powerbook under his arm. The IT department there don't seem to have heard of Apple and offered to rent him a network card <sigh>
Is there someone who could contact me off-list and help me through the process of getting him connected to their network?
Many thanks,
Mike Russell
