[PRODIG] Repairing Lawn in PS7

I'm doing a portrait of a newly painted Victorian house that has a shabby lawn due to the drought. I've tried cloning in the brown spots and pattern stamping with a pattern made from some of the better parts of the lawn, but nothing I do looks natural. Anybody tried rejuvenating a lawn in Photoshop? TIA   Ron Reimer
