Hello All, I'm transferring about 30GB of photo files from a G3 (Mac ) OS9.2.2 to an 867 G4 Max OS 10.2.6
My problem is that after transferring the files via a 120GB Firewire LaCie external Hard Drive (formatted in OSX) I am unable to delete the files transferred from my OS9 machine in OSX (but of course the same files will delete in trusty OS9.2.2 - no problem...). When I attempt to delete the files on the external drive in OSX I get the error message "Files are locked". Should I now be concerned about the integrity of these transferred files ? Or is this just another 'normal' hurdle Mac is throwing at us poor users ? I can't manually check each file as there is 30 Gigs worth !
