Is anyone using Photokit sharpen (http://www.pixelgenius.com/sharpener/index.html)? It' s written by various Photoshop luminaries - our own Martin Evening among them), but having downloaded the trial version, the results (on screen) look ... er, VERY sharp.

I've posted an example of before (shot on a Canon 1Ds with 24-70mm and polarising filter) - around 450K saved as jpeg 10:

and after (capture sharpening - Digital hi-rest, halftone output sharpener - 150lpi uncoated stock) - around 550K ditto

I chose the output setting based on the fact that it's destined for a printed brochure.

Perhaps the resident list experts can confirm that this will print more beautifully that it appears on screen. And then I'll buy a copy and suggest that my clients do the same.

Many thanks
