(Shangara) Cheers, I suspected that ACR would be the plug-in that CS was, if at all, using to do a raw processing. Presumably it manages the profile of the imported file directly and allows file size to be PS generated - hopefully a step closer to PS actually talking to the camera.. but how fast is it?
CS is sounding good but I haven't (even after scouring Martin Evening's PS7 book) completed my knowledge on how to use ALL the functions on 7!! Not that I would use them all but there you are. BTW I meant no comment by my last mail, I only found it amusing that you referred to CM in that way, made me feel I'm not alone with just the evil profile ghost stalking me.. I found out that I'm 5 mins walk from Danny Chau, so he is currently rescuing me from CM problems. I haven't got the time to study CM - have to earn a living from photography! (so eternally grateful for the list's exisitence) (back to Ricardo!)
