Most things are slightly faster in CS. We don't have a summary list of which things are faster and slower. In each release, there are usually some bug fixes in certain filters or editing operations that cause them to slow down because it takes longer to produce more correct results.
Also, in each release there are usually one or two interactions we didn't catch -- "if it's Tuesday and your computer's name starts with "f" and you're running Win2K with your default printer is connected via Netware, then there will be a 5 second pause while launching". It usually takes us a few weeks to figure out exactly what's causing things like that. Any of these can show up on user forums as "the new release is dog-slow compared to the old one", even though for most users and most operations the new release is faster. I can confirm that the healing brush is significantly slower on high resolution 16 bit documents. This is not indicative of a general slowdown in the app. Russell Williams Not speaking for Adobe Systems =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
