I use Epson inks and Epson heavyweight matt for my folio with a Thomas

I have a Pixl profile for Epson HW matt too and the paper is quite good for reference prints, before committing to a heavier more expensive paper like Lyson smooth fine art or Hannemulle (I assume these are the same product - just different names!) But then the difference really shows. If you print the same image on the heavier weight papers it really jumps off the page - you get far better saturation. I print lot of flowers on Lyson 300gsm smooth fine art and it really holds subtle tones that get lost on Epson HW matt.

Hi, I have been thinking about using the Epson Archival matt paper (lyson
fotonic inks) and getting a profile made. Seems to be cheaper than the
heavier better quality papers but for folio etc.. I think it will be fine.>

I must admit I'm not familiar with Archival matt, but if making folio prints I would personally stick to a heavier paper - you want to grab the art directors attention!
