And I have to say I don't believe this subject is off-topic for digital imaging. When I was working at Unit 5 we used to use bluescreen a lot for shooting stills of lace curtains, windows, props, etc. ready for comping into a preexisting scenes, isolating elements, and adding backgrounds into room-sets. It's much easier to isolate an item if shot onto blue/green if the object being shot is a sub-element of a final shot.
Dear List
In the interests of fairness and clarity, I need to tell you that Andy has explained to me off list that he responded to Paul's original posting before having received my OK for the thread to continue. This is one of the problems when on occasions posts take hours rather than minutes to appear.
Normally I only respond on list if someone questions my actions on list . In which case I do it this way in the interests of openness, and to be as clear as possible for everyone concerned. I accept Andy's explanation and thank him for being a good Prodiger!
Have a good week all.
Cheers -- Richard
