Hi List

I'm about to upgrade my PowermacG4 from OS 9.2.2 to Panther 10.3 and
thought I might aswell upgrade my PowerbookG4 from 10.2.6 to 10.3 at the
same time. Does this mean that I have to buy the (expensive) multi user
version (even though I'm a single user with two machines)? I suspect the
legal answer is yes, but Apple said that it was physically possible to use
the install CD on more than one machine. Then they changed their mind and
said that it was impossible to use the software on more than one computer
(physically impossible I mean). My local Apple repair agent said however
that they suspected this wasn't true.

What's the correct answer?
Your local Apple repair agent is right, so send Apple to him not me when they come looking for you:-)
