With an image open in photoshop, goto Print with preview... Image deselects
and all menu items are greyed out. No preview window appears.
Esc takes us back to the image. Print works normally and Page setup too...
just not Print with Preview.
Any suggestions greatly welcomed.

I had a problem with print preview on an epson 2100, the print preview 
had a magenta cast. I deleted the photoshop preference files, that 
seemed to fix it. I had a call in to Adobe, they did call back and 
reckoned that they would have advised the action which I took
