The sample file 'Church 14MP'on the kodak site looks very good. To my eye
there is much less noise in the shadows than I would have expected from a
14n file. I could not see much info in the file's EXIF information so can
not tell what lens or exposure was used.

It also looks to me like a mixed light shot, some flash on the alter mixed
with the ambient. 

As a sample it is streets ahead of the first portrait samples that came out
from the 14n.

In fact after looking at all the samlples posted, and having tested the 14n.
I have put my name on a waiting list at a London dealer, and also asked to
see a demo model as soon as one is available. Obviously with no obligation.

I would go as far as to say I am hopeful about the camera.

Time will tell.
