At the moment I use p/shop 5.5 to caption and p/shop 7 for everything else.
I prefer it that way simply because I find the caption box on 7 to be too
small to write or drag files into and read all in one hit without scrolling.
(I find it difficult to read passages of writing, its a learning difficulty
problem). I have looked into several other options such as iView, Cumulus
etc but nothing seems to be as good as 5.5. And that is where the problem
is. Is there a way of increasing the captioning box in either 7 or CS to
allow me to use just one p/shop on OSX ? Any other suggestions are welcome,
well, sort of 8-)

In CS the File Info caption box (renamed Description in CS) also requires scrolling for captions longer than three lines, but if you caption from the File Browser instead, the Description box in the IPTC Metadata field expands to fit the caption, however long. Captioning via the File Browser has the added advantage of being able to batch caption.
