Dear List, I need a new A4 printer (for printing digital photographs) and need some recommendations please. Two printers look as if they may fit the bill - Canon i990 and Epson R800. I can't find any reviews of the 990, but have found one or two good write ups of the R800. Is the R800 likely to become the benchmark that the 2100 has?
Can the list advise, or possibly recommended any other printers that I should be looking at. I will be getting them custom profiled for Ilford Classic Pearl (got loads of the stuff) and a fine art paper. Print quality is more important than speed.
