I use CS with Windows XP to prepare my portraits for inkjet printing onto an
Epson 7600 using the Ilford Studio system.

I recently changed the colourspace in CS from Colourmatch, which I have used
for a couple of years, to sRGB, to match the colourspace of my Nikon D1X.

The result are great, except for one strange effect:

In order to print, I move the final image as a fine jpg onto a 24" template
and manually tile the images to minimise media wastage.

Since using sRGB space, I have noticed that the tiled image seems to lose
colour intensity as soon as it is dragged on to the template, when compared
side by side with the source jpg.

This effect does not occur in the Colourmatch space.

Clearly, this is not helpful, since I now have to 'overcook' the colour
intensity in the original to allow for this reduction when it is tiled.

Any ideas?
