It is good to know that you've actually tried and tested the CG21. But may I know which hardware calibration did you used? I know that Eizo recomended calibration with EyeOne.

I recently changed all my Barco with Eizo monitors. The difference is very impressive. I started with just one, testing it, but then sold all 6 barco and got the Eizo CG21 with hardware calibration.
I profiled to view while working the digital cromalin results and arrived up to 85% fidelity with the final prints from first try.
Increased resolution 1600X1200 is very useful while working with palettes, thought i extended the desktop on a cheaper second monitor to have more space.
Total flatness of the screen makes also the difference respect to barco.
Definitely worth the change
