Hi List
Just wondering what people are using for batch re-naming of files? Is there software that can identify which file names are the same, except for the TIFF and JPEG suffix and rename to the same new name, but keeping the original .jpeg and .tiff (I supply an image as a low res jpeg, and as a high res tiff).
I sometimes need to change names after batch processing in Capture 1.
Many thanks
Dear Richard,
I use iView Media Pro which is absolutely brilliant for this but Graphic Converter is also excellent. I like iView better because you can initially put different folders of files together, re-arrange the presentation order and THEN re-name the files, in that order. I'm not sure if GC can do this. Both leave the suffix in place and both allow you to add just extra strings if you wish.
